Matter closed...

The announcement below was made just to clear up the fact that Animanda did not have an exclusive arrangement with them (or anyone else for that matter). If we do, we'd announce it here as well ^^. (So, please for anything involving us in the future, I suggest waiting for our official announcements, we do have them occasionally.)

Death-notes.com have commented that they do not have exclusive access to our subs, and that it was announced by someone who's english is not their first language, hence their announcement was mis-interpretated.

We'd like to move on from this issue, and we will not be commenting further on this matter. From our viewpoint, this issue is closed.

Thanks for reading,

Ishatar

(Edit: Both my posts in no manner are an attempt to bash the other party. Just clarifying our position, since I've been asked about this by many. Since this all seems to be some kind of misunderstanding/ misinterpretation, let's drop the subject and talk about something else, like when is someone going to give me some chocolate... *looks around for staff members to poke* )

I think this is all well and good and I appreciate you still subtitling Death Notes, but it would be nice if we got a general idea when to expect the next episode if you don't mind. But thanks for continuing the support of Death Note.

just wanna ask about somthing about episode 13 (if u didnt watch episode 13 yet dont read this)
in minute 18:38 of the ep, your subtitle tells that Light is saying "So,what's your friend doing now?"
Missa answered "if you told me to kill them , ill do it right now!"

shouldnt she say "her" instead of "them"??

Makai: Next episode comes out when it's subbed :P. (Similar to this week's I guess.)

"shouldnt she say "her" instead of "them"?? "

Neither is incorrect. "Them" was used as the singular non-gender form in this case, because it was felt that Misa tries to distant herself from the thought of killing her friend i.e. she tries not to think of it as her friend... if that made any sense...

All I was saying was that I can't wait to see the next episode. I've been waiting for a while. I'm just dying to see the next episode and was hoping to find out if it might be subtitled soon or if they are having problems with the subtitling like some of hte other anime.

hello, other fun-subbers have already stopped subbing death note because its already licensed it really made me very sad. i hope u still continue to sub all of their episodes...

That is some sh!t with Viz deciding to license in the middle of production. They're 14 episodes late...when is their first episode even supposed to release??

What are you talkin about? They should of waited a LONG time before they licsensed it. They were 23 episodes too early to get licsensing. Heck ADV or Bandai should of probably gotten it. I don't really want Viz to do it...

As of episode 13 pause you can't mispell the name more than 4 times, but the second murder took him much more than 4 tries!

OMGZOGMOMZOMZOMGOMOZM! plot hole!

"I guess the rule means that the Death Note will not work on a particular victim if that person's name is misspelled four times, and not the power of the notebook as a whole. And I suppose it is possible that Light got the man's name right within the first four tries, and the Death Note took effect even though he kept writing the wrong kanji after that." by Codex from animesuki.

Couldn't say it better.

What was the second murder again?
